The vision for this editorial took inspiration from the spectacular unique Sintra’s light and the Byronic character of the palatial mansion, Casa dos Penedos. Sintra, located in the heart of a luxuriant forest, has a unique and distinct light. A sweet, romantic, forest-filtered light that oscillates between soft pinks and yellows which determined the primary colour palette. The vendor’s team, curated by Destination Weddings in Portugal, aimed to create a radiant fantasy based on the omnipresence of Sintra’s romantic mysticism, the perfect backdrop for a couple to fondly exchange their love vows. Several details supported this utterly romantic fantasy: the artistic and stylish stationery collection by In love Weddings, the palace’s remarkable rooms with its emblematic traditional-classic features, the outdoor ceremony, the long and fluid reception table set in the main room surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, and the exuberant ceiling paintings. The bride wore a delicate, elegant, crisp white wedding gown by Pureza de Mello Breyner magically combined with her curly locks styled naturally and carefree, complemented by a flattering barely-there make-up. Talented Lisbon Wedding Photographers captured the editorial’s romantic atmosphere making thorough portraits to be admired and cherished throughout time.
